Sigma Technologies Welcomes Mike Yates as Director of Business Development

Sigma Technologies is pleased to announce that Mike Yates has joined the company as Director of Business Development, supporting new growth initiatives across both its power utility and telecommunications divisions. With more than 24 years of experience in consultative sales and strategic planning, Mike brings a strong track record of delivering results for infrastructure partners across North America.

Mike has spent over 15 years focused on the utility sector, developing a deep understanding of IOU asset management strategies, funding environments, and long-term infrastructure planning. He has held senior roles at leading industry organizations, including QUES, Aclara, and Osmose Utilities Services, where he drove strategic account growth and led national teams. While at Osmose, Mike oversaw accounts representing over 70% of the company’s national profit center revenue, increasing year-over-year revenue by 21% and gross profit by 58%.
